Meet the Woman Behind the Brand

My name is Karissa and I am an eccentric neurodivergent woman on a mission to lead others to their best lives as their best selves. A life that isn't just okay, but truly amazing. A life that brings you joy, financial freedom, love, healing, healthy friendships and relationships, a life that aligns with who you are, what you love. A life of abundance and ease.
I have a background in psychology, over a decade of experience of conscious parenting ADHD/autistic kiddos, and over three decades of life experience navigating, succeeding, accommodating and thriving being ADHD/Autistic myself. I have also been student and master in the arts of meditation, reiki, energy work, and qi healing, for over eight years now. I am also a dedicated reader and researcher. I love all things neurology, neuropsychology, neuroscience, as well as holistic healing/health.

livekrazywell started years ago, after many years of feeling quite the opposite. Like many healers, I have a backstory of hardship, heartache, mental and physical health issues, chronic pain/illness, and I was struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I wasn't receiving the help/support/guidance I needed from doctors, family, friends, from my job. I had countless medical labels & medications, but all I could feel was my life falling apart. So, I sought out to find healing myself.
After being late diagnosed ADHD in my 20s, diagnosed autistic at 30, and discovering I had chronic migraine, fibromyalgia, and cPTSD, I began my search for a better quality of life. I was tired of being told what I should, could, would do by people who had never walked three minutes in my shoes. I set out to learn my mind and my body. I connected with my soul, healed my inner child and teen, reflected on the past and the lessons learned from them. I focused on fueling my mind and body. I watched what I consumed - not in an obsessive way - but just paying attention to what made me feel good and what didn't. I left jobs, relationships, places, and things that did not fill me up, that were toxic and draining. And instead, I focused on my healing, joy, peace, and well-being.

When I tell you that the transformation in my life has been unfathomable, I mean it. I went from being this hyper-anxious, continually irritable, always on the go, hating life, having meltdowns, breakdowns, crying spills... to a woman who is calmly present. Who genuinely searches and finds the good in each day. I became a woman who puts myself first, who rests and does things that fill her cup and bring her joy. I became a woman who takes time to connect with myself, as well as my kids. And I mean genuinely connect with them every day. I became a woman who focuses less on what others think, what my parents, job, friends, what society might think, and began asking myself: What do I think? What do I want? Of course, we are human, so there are always times where we will find ourselves reverting back to old habits and getting lost in the feelings and hardships of life, but it is a day by day lifestyle change. Happiness is found the journey, not in the destination.

Once you figure out who you are and what you really want under all the conditionings of what you've been taught of who you "should" want to be/what you want to do, that's when life really catapults you in the direction of joy, peace, and abundance. And if you're thinking "I don't even know who I am or what I want," don't worry friend, I've been there too.

One of my favorite quotes is by Emily McDowell and it says, “Finding yourself" is not really how it works. You aren't a ten-dollar bill in last winter's coat pocket. You are also not lost. Your true self is right there, buried under cultural conditioning, other people's opinions, and inaccurate conclusions you drew as a kid that became your beliefs about who you are. "Finding yourself" is actually returning to yourself. An unlearning, an excavation, a remembering who you were before the world got its hands on you.”

Believe wholeheartedly, friend, that your best life, your highest self is waiting for you. Under all that conditioning of who you should, could, would be, what you "should" be doing. My dear friend, you have one life. And you deserve to live that life to the utmost fullest. To have a happy, fulfilling, abundant life of ease. You deserve health, wealth, peace, love - genuine love - from yourself and from others. You deserve to wake up each day loving who you are, loving where you are, and loving what you do. And that life is possible for you. All you have to do is genuinely believe it and align your actions to the person you want to be and the life that you desire. And I say this with the utmost love and respect for whatever it is you are going through or have been through: it does not matter if you only have $0.10 in your bank account, if you are navigating disability, if you're BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, if you have no college degree, your only friend is your dog, if you think you look like you belong under a bridge. I promise you that you are worthy of a great life - that a great life is in the cards for you - all you must do is believe in the power of yourself (and the universe/God) and disregard the beliefs, thoughts, opinions & conditionings of others.

You are inherently worthy. Just as you are. You don't need to be anyone else, but you. There is only one you and that is your superpower. Once you figure out just how incredibly amazing you are, I cannot wait to watch your life flourish into all you've imagined and all you couldn't even begin to imagine you're worthy of.

Are you ready to take the leap of faith with me? I'll be right here as long as you need me.
Let's go.
